Humpty, Dumpty……..

……shouldn’t have a great fall, thanks to the generosity of St Andrews Timber.

Andrew, ESME’s head stonemason & tunnel developer, contacted the Newsdesk:  ‘The purpose was to protect anyone from falling over the edge of the tunnel walls and to provide a public viewing area above the tunnel entrances.  We are very grateful to St Andrews Timber who supplied us with 16 new fence posts and 16 bags of postcrete.  The rest was made out of recycled timber recovered from other sites by our ‘Wombling’ team!

Thanks to the ESME team for doing all the hard work: Sandy, James C, James N, David M and Ruaraidh.  Thanks to James R and Andy for the landscaping.’

Their generous support for the Almondell project arose after a family visit to our open day in May to ride the trains.  Peter gave a tour of the site & explained what we are trying to achieve which was very well received.
