West Calder High School have been helping on the tunnel project to construct the portals. Fitting doors was the last part of the this project & their construction team was led by Jack Galloway.
Made from recycled wood from our timber pile, there is still some tweaking to do and ironmongery to add plus a coat of creosote.
To finish the tunnel we have a coping to go on the top of the wall and then need to build up the soil.
A wooden viewing fence and pathway are planned.
