Last year David N. updated us on progress with his Martin Evans designed 5″ Manor class. At that stage it was ready for a tentative outing on the track having been successfully test steamed at home. The second lockdown meant track outings were curtailed, however now that things have eased our Roving Reporter spotted David out on the track recently putting it through its paces.
Taking a moment to enjoy the sunshine whilst the tender fills, we see David at Almondell Central. His broad smile says it all, a very successful number of runs around the Newliston circuit.
David commented: ‘I have listed six tasks to do to finish the Manor, all minor except for turning & filing the safety valve bonnet!’
