Following Alex’s update on his scaled up and modified 1947 design of Edgar T Westbury’s ‘Seal’, (if you recall, Alex wrote ‘when Ross won the Farr trophy for his almost complete engine spurred me on further’).
This has prompted Ross M. to drop a line with pictures of progress on his ‘Sealion’ to the original Westbury design.
Some small tasks yet to complete.
An old project from the back of the shelf – steam engine I designed with some Stuart Turner parts. I designed the fittings and the vertical boiler which I have yet to put together.
Also designed and made the 6v generator.
Photo on the main page shows Edgar T. Westbury working at his lathe.
