My own D-Day on the 6th June was when the Panther burst into life for the first time:
Still a lot of work to do. Painting of the camourflage, addition of the external detail such as tools, spare tracks etc. Then there is the fitting of the motion packs for the turret & gun, the smoke unti for the exhausts & lights to name but a few. The positioning of the batteries & electronics within the hull is another consideration. September is the target date for completion.
