The John Russell Trophy. I am very pleased to announce that at the Christmas Party, Dan Coupe was awarded with the John Russell Trophy. The photo shows Dan being presented with the trophy by Chairman James Robertson.
The trophy is presented annually to a member who has shown great dedication to the club and produced an outstanding contribution in many aspects of work and projects within the club.
I am sure that you will all agree that Dan is a very worthy member to receive this trophy. His sheer volume of work involved in the rebuild of the Appin locomotive, which was a great success during out public open days, is to be commended
The list is endless with all of his other projects from passenger coaches, braking systems, workshop machining and even the n gauge railway. Well done Dan.
