Our thanks to the Levenseat Trust for their £21,800.00 grant towards the Air Source Heat Pump to be installed in the new Heritage Centre and Museum.

We are again grateful to Gordon Bow Plant Hire for their continued support with our project.

Cyberhawk of Livingston kindly gave up their time recently to produce some wonderful aerial views of our site using one of their amazing drones.  This footage has been incorporated into a three minute video tour of the Almondell Model Engineering Centre.

 

March News

Our thanks to Barrettine for their help to source a suitable medium for end sealing the cut sleeper of the conversion of Newliston panels 7¼/5” to 5/3½”.  We are grateful for their generosity in supplying substantial quantities of sampling materials for trials.  Further purchases of the material will be made once the trials have been concluded and the track conversion continues.

A Big Thank you to A Plant of Leith for their assistance with our Big Push weekend, it is appreciated.

January News

As part of the Rotary Club of Livingston’s End Polio Now Campaign several members of the Rotary Club of Livingston met up with members, families and friends of The Edinburgh Society of Model Engineers (ESME) to plant 5,000 crocuses at ESME’s new home in Almondell near Pumpherston.  ESME supplied recycled wood for the ‘Rudolph Project 2017’.
