The Paint Shop at the Bathgate Locomotive Works has been taking advantage of the recent hot weather to do a spot of painting:
‘Maude’ is looking resplendent in the coat of heat resistant black paint.
To complete the process, the bits were placed in the oven at maximum for a couple of hours. The Bathgate Works Manager reported that: ‘All was fine, but my fish fingers tasted a bit odd that night….!’ A small price to pay for the perfect finish.
