Our Roving Reporter has been a regular visitor on a Thursday these past few weeks and has been keeping the News Desk up to date. Due to commitments with attending pre school nursery this weeks report is likely to be the last one for a while.
The focus here is on the completion of ‘Blythe Bridge’ on the Newliston circuit and the embankment for the Almondell circuit just before they come together to cross the ‘Five Sisters Crossing’.
Then we move down to the West area where work is progressing on the final Almondell circuit earthworks by Pumpherston Junction. With the weather holding this was a good time to progress this (before it gets too muddy again). At the same time the opportunity was taken for a little earth moving on the Comrie circuit which would give a circular route for the tractor.
