In early August work started in earnest on the groundwork for the Heritage Centre & Museum building. Progress has been sure and steady culminating in their completion on Saturday, 27th November. The second phase of building work is due to commence on Monday, 5th November. As ever our Roving Reporter has had their camera at the ready and the sequence of photographs illustrate the final phase of the work.
Final laying and trimming of the drains and water services.
More shifting and barrowing, but nearly there.
Rolling and admiring. Looking good!
Final measuring and roll, a tea spoon or two here.
Thank you to all those who laboured away on the Thursday and Saturday and the unseen backroom team planning, ordering materials and paying the bills. A team effort.
