James had lunch with some retired colleagues from Hewlett Packard and afterwards they visited Almondell for a ride around the track and a guided tour. John provided the motive power with his Feldbahn ‘Barbush’. It handled the load of three carriages with ease and the visitors enjoyed their numerous trips around the circuit.
The weather was perfect to see the site at its best, for once the weather forecasters got it right!
Drumshoreland Station was the start point for the tour.
The sight of the train going around the track created interest with the building construction team, one of whom can be seen peering out of the window opening.
