Mr Frosty made a welcome return to the Xmas party on the 20th December.
Roddy laid out an excellent spread for everyone to enjoy & our thanks to him for his hard work.
Not to be outdone, Dan & Alastair operated trains on the club’s ‘N’ gauge layout. Sadly the buffet service was not available on their route!
Members enjoyed a convivial evening which included two competitions.
The first competition was to guess the waistline of Mr Frosty. Elspeth is seen eying up the task! The winner was Mark with 129.5cms (51″).
The second competion asked members to submit a photograph & the one receiving the most ‘like’ votes would win a prize.
The winner was Paul K. who submitted the picture of Richard N’s. two South African locomotives (8)
Second prize went to Philip G. for his picture of a Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway locomotive (19)
Third prize went to Mark for his picture showing the interior bracing on the walls of his new house before the concret was poured (16)
