This month saw more work on Circuit C with the west curve transition rails rolled and cut to length and the inner edge boards installed.
The ballast was levelled to enable the Circuit B panels to be finally laid and fish-plated down the triple track section and levelling ballast and aligning panels on Circuit B. The 27 Circuit B east curve rails were all cut to length ready for panel building and the first dual gauge US point built up.
The new drain was laid through tunnel and a start made on the block work at the east side of the
Comrie track fishplating continued with the point at the east end of the station area being sorted out. Additional long sleepers were added under the cast nose and Bob drilled one rail joint to accommodate a four hole fishplate which brings it into line with all the other joints.
