Dan contacted the Newsdesk with an update on a wee project he is working on for the club. A Rob Roy built a number of years ago is receiving some of the ‘Dan TLC’ with the intention of ultimately displaying the model in the meeting room in the Heritage Centre. Unfortunately the boiler is not fit enough to be steamed so the intention is to couple it up to an air supply which will allow the engine to tick over. As Dan says, ‘Mechanically it is in fair condition & would be nice to see the wheels going round.’
