Progress continues with other parts of the project whilst we await the building warrant for the Heritage Centre & Museum.
On a wet Saturday our Roving Reporter was there to record the efforts of the team as they dug and lay the water pipe & electricity cable down to the resited workshops. It was sometimes hard to believe that someone as a joke had not connected the water pipe to to the mains supply and turned it on as the trench seemed to fill with water as soon as it was dug!
However, no cases of ‘trench foot’ were reported and at the end of the day everything reached the container as planned. Just got to connect up now.
