Thursday – the main focus of today was track building. Rails were selected for the remaining three circuit B panels to complete the slightly curving section down to the west. The weather today was much better than forecast which allowed outside panel construction to continue all day. Panel 8 of circuit B was finished and laid in place by mid afternoon and a start made on a further Oban panel to close the gap in circuit C. Thursday – despite the steady downpour all day, seven members turned up and managed to have a fruitful day. Most of the effort went into building up three 20 foot 7.25″/5″ panels for circuit B using the new US-section rail. Thursday – today saw felling work restart for the steaming lie access road. On the track front, Circuit B panel assembly continued and more rails were rolled for 2 panels of Circuit C in the 4-track area. Also more progress on the first two Oban points.
